Lakehead University, Aboriginal Awareness Week Mural and Pow Wow

Moses Beaver, renowned Canadian Native Artist, completed this gorgeous mural in the tunnels beside the Aboriginal Awareness Centre at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay in conjunction with numerous University students as part of aboriginal awareness week, May 2004. Painting materials were donated by the University Presidents and Vice Presidents office. In May 2005, the artist hopes to do a fire sculpture in support of aboriginal awareness week.
